Hannah and Anna
are not from Canada.
No, they come from
Denmark.
And what do you know!
I don’t know
if I’ve ever
met a Dane before,
But, I can’t be too sure,
maybe in passing,
at an airport or
somewhere remote
like a hiking trip,
or a bike ride.
But these two
Danish ladies
took me by surprise.
Full of joy and
friendly chatter,
two bright
shining stars.
They even look alike.
As it
turns out,
they are cousins
on their father’s side.
Two brothers had
two sweet daughters
who became,
not just
best buddies,
but traveling
companions
too.
I’m so glad
I met
Hannah
and Anna
in Barcelona.
I hope you
meet some
cool Danes
too.
I’m having so much fun traveling in Europe. I have wanted to do this for years.
Who would have ever thought Covid would open this door for me!!
I really enjoy talking to all the young people from around the globe.

They inspire me and surprise me too with their open-mindedness and infectious positive attitude.
