You Don’t Have to Feel Strong to Carry On

Just keep moving forward one step at a time

I’m a life coach so I know about goal setting and new years resolutions. I’ve even written articles on the subject.

But, this year is different. I’m tired and I’m weary and I don’t think I’m alone in this.

We tried our best here to celebrate Christmas. We had a nice gathering at church where we got a chance to sit and eat together.

It was really nice, but with the rigid restrictions over Christmas, it wasn’t as free as we would have liked.

Everyone was still cautious. Some were opening their arms to give hugs while others were pulling back in fear.

Two years on and people are tired of it. Savings begin to dwindle and many are out of work, and others are overcoming the loss of loved ones.

If you are feeling weary right now, don’t worry. You are not alone. Many are weary and wonder how they can find the strength to carry on.

I know this feeling and I am learning that we can do it even if we do not feel strong.

We can make a decision to take the next step and then the next and the next. We can keep moving forward even though we feel weary.

We can put our trust in our higher power and believe that when we keep walking forward we will one day notice that the winter will have passed and spring will have come.

We will look back and think, did that really happen or was it all just a bad dream?

Fix your eyes on your vision and keep moving forward one step at a time. You will see the sun shining sooner than you think.

Just believe. 💫
