Your story made me laugh, Aarti.. just thinking of you there trying to stay motivated. :) Many years ago, I went to Australia and found 2 interesting jobs.. one was in Cairns where we got to stay for free in the hostel if we did a few hours cleaning everyday.. I had to clean the windows in the front office.. a little embarrasing, but hey! It had to be done. :) The 2nd job was cleaning in a guest house in a Rainforest. I liked the rainforest and the work was ok... tidying up rooms after the guests left.
